Some research show that overeating is as harmful as smoking. Therefore, some people claim that advertising for certain food such as junk food and fast food should be banned, in some way the cigarette advertising is banned in many countries while others keep the opposite opinion.

From my point of view, I partly agree that advertising for certain food like junk food and fast food should be banned.

There is a kind of advertisement which do not tell the truth, they cheat and force and only in order to tempt people to buy the product they produced. This kind of fraudulent advertisement for junk food and fast food should be banned as they cheat the masses just for selling their products. This is not allowed no matter for public morals or for law.

Another type of advertising for junk food and fast food is which I do not think it should be banned as they tell the truth of their products, no cheating. In fact, eating some junk food and fast food does not have a vital impact inside and outside our body and we can know where and when will be some new food for us to have a try. Junk food and fast food is not the same as cigarettes, people are not so easy to be addicted while people will often be addicted if they ever tried cigarettes. People get the food they need, merchants get the money they need, no cheating, no forcing, all voluntary. People have the right to decide what to do by themselves and the same as eating junk food and fast food.

To conclude, in my opinion, some fraudulent advertising for certain food such as junk food and fast food should be banned while those simple advertising for certain food should not be banned.
