My Summer Holiday 我的暑假

Summer holiday is coming. I already have a good plan for it. Since I will have a two-month holiday, I plan to travel with my friends. We will visit Xi'an for a week with a tourist group. After that, I will do a volunteer job near my home to take care of homeless animals. This holiday will be a good time for me to grow up. I can't wait.

暑假快到了。我已经有一个很好的计划了。因为我有两个月的假期，所以我打算和朋友们一起旅行。我们将和一个旅游团去西安旅游一周。之后，我会在家附近做一个义工来照顾无家可归的动物。这个假期是我成长的好时机。我都等不及了。

My Summer Vacation

Summer time is the best time of the year. There is no school for two months and I get to do what I want. With no tests and no homework, I'm as free as a bird.

I do many things during the summer vacation. I relax by reading books and watching TV. I also hang out with my friends and travel with my family. However, I don't only play in summer. I take advantage of the free time to learn more. For example, last summer I learned to swim. This summer I might study computers or English. Summer vacation flies by fast, so it's important to do as much as you can.
