The Fox and the Crow

I read this fable when I was still in the kindergarten. It is about a clever fox and a silly crow.

In the story, the crow found a big piece of cheese and held it in its mouth. The fox wanted to eat that piece of cheese. Then he had an idea. He said,“Your voice may be perfect. Can you sing a song for me?” The crow felt happy of the compliment and started singing. At that very moment, the cheese fell off from its mouth. The fox caught the cheese and ran away quickly.

I like this fable because it tells me not to believe the person who flatters you!
